Before you can use any of the tools in the T8 MakerSpace, you must first demonstrate that you will be able to use them appropriately. This will ensure the safety of you and those around you, as well as the long term function of the tool.

Approval for any tool consists of 3 parts:

Read of view the given safety readings/videos

Complete the online safety test as many times as necessary until you achieve a 100%.

Complete a hands-on practical test with Mr. Schmidt on the given tool. He will have a task for you to perform under his observation to ensure you are using the tool safely and properly.
